Pine Double Storage Bench

At almost ten feet long, this is quite the longest Hungarian box bench we have offered for sale.  Beneath a curvilinear top rail and a straight bottom rail are four raised panels.  The leg is straight and the integral arm is slightly scrolled, forming a frame for the raised panel on the side.  Two seats, each braced on the underside, lift on iron hinges to access two large storage compartments.  Hand-polished to a light honey glow, this bench has some significant areas of inactive woodworm tracks on otherwise fairly clean stock.  This is a great piece for a waiting room or a mud room or as toy storage in a basement play room.  Seat height is 19.5".
