PRODUCT INFORMATION

This lovely storage bench has a long flat back rail scalloped at the corners where it meets the scrolled top of the high arm each end. Two bold stiles divide the back into three compartments, each one with four narrow splats. Instead of a lifting seat, here the storage is comprised of a deep hand-cut dovetailed drawer which runs the length of the bench and opens on original ceramic knobs. The later worn blue paintwork is decorated with folk art floral motifs and a white panel on the seat wherein the theme is repeated.  Seat height 17.5".
