What a handsome Chest of Drawers! What a stately presence for the master bedroom. The step-down edge of the crown is augmented by an ogee molding beneath. The two short top drawers stand proud of the face with hardwood trim creating faux panels. Between the top drawers is a hardwood split baluster, which repeats on the outside front corner. The three long drawers, more or less equal in depth, have plain fronts, and are flanked by long split balusters. Brass pulls and escutchen plates contrast nicely with the turned wooden knobs. The wood here is fairly clear and has a lovely warm honey color.
